Should I become a Real Estate agent in Ohio?
I am considering a career change, into the Real Estate field. But I have several questions before I invest the 2000.00 toward the pre licensing classes.
What are the start up cost to be a new real estate agent?
What should I expect to spend out of pocket?
What type of interview questions should I expect from the broker?
What type of training do brokers usually provide?
On the sale of 150,000 house what commission should I expect to make?
Are there any other questions, I should be asking?
Thanks
Aside from 2000 for the schooling you have to pay 75 to take the test 1000 to join the mls 175 to for the lock fee and purchase the lock boxes. Commission is like this. You work for a big company like Huff or Star one they will pay for your cards your signs give you an email address and put your face on there web site. But again you sell a house for 150000 listing percent is 6 someone sells the house they get 3% and you get 3% then you have to split that with your broker. So you only get 2% on listing and 1.5% on if you sold someone elses. Remax you get majority of your commission but you have to pay for everything yourself and your overhead. If you are a rocking agent selling a house a week I would suggest doing that. To many realtors these days. And if you do it put your heart in it.
