What does ’state of mind’ mean?

It’s sort of a temporary mental state that puts you (mentally) in a particular place or time. If you’re in a Queenstown state of mind, you’re experiencing the state of being in Queenstown even though you might not physically be there. This ad is a little misleading since the real estate for sale is actually IN Queenstown. If this piece of property were actually in NY and the ad said the property put the prospective owners in a “Queenstown state of mind,” it would mean that the place reminds them of Queenstown.
