OK … so I start this entry blog with an admission that I'm biased. I am a realtor, and I think in the MLS system. Not because I have to believe, but because I've seen it work over and over time. I understand and I know how the system of MLS homes are sold.

This blog is not a post-PEP talk about MLS, and I'm not trying to convert you … is a simple explanation of how the MLS, and what makes it so effective in the housing market in Edmonton. Here we go …

The MLS is effective because to the large number of realtors who are members of the MLS Edmonton. Each of us compete for a customer, qualified buyers of gold. But once Have the buyer, we have access to literally thousands of homes throughout the Edmonton area.

We can take the buyer by the hand and lead them through from home. Even if your house personally in the list. That enables us to expose the buyer to more households, and makes it more likely that we will be sold along with the buyer.

So basically, every competing inclusion in the MLS is a lead generation tool for selling your home. You have more than 3,000 real estate agents working for a buyer to your house for you.

For Sale By Owners are by their very nature, solitary. Receive 1 shot in which buyers and sellers ForSaleByOwner will not share your buyer leads each other.

The more the possibilities for in buyers, better chance you have for sale. It's that simple.
