What do I ask a Real Estate expert?
I have a meeting with a real estate company ( First Team) that is extremely popular here in Orange, ca. I want to take classes, and so they set me up to talk to someone about what happens in the business, before I go to their seminar.
The lady who set me up, told me to ask any questions, but I have NO IDEA what to ask?
She also said that the meeting would “decide” if they wanted to sponsor me?
I didn’t know they could do this, but I planned on working with their company anyways, because they have a lot of the listings here, and they are not one of the bigger businesses, which I think would be expensive to work for….
Any suggestions?
What you have to understand going into this is it is YOUR business. While you have to work under a Broker, they are only there to support and supervise you. You have to prospect daily for business, you have to be able to take being rejected or told no. You have to have some level of income to pay for all the business needs you’ll have.
As for asking questions, “What is the hardest thing they had to do to prospect for business?”, How long did it take to have a viable business making a regular income that would support their lifestyle?” What is an average months costs to operate? Just a few questions. I hope I have helped. Some folks think I’m too direct or negative. I just want to relay the facts as I know them. I’ve been a Realtor for 20 yrs. Licensed in 3 states. I know a little about the business. Take care!
